Project A: Highgate Road Chapel, London NW5
The main chapel building, built to accommodate 650 worshippers in the late 19th century, was abandoned in the 1990's and the church fellowship retreated to an ancillary building as dry rot, water ingress and subsidence became increasing problems.
The main chapel was sold with planning permission for a housing development to a developer. The church's ancillary building and nursery were demolished behind the retained facade in order to make way for new accommodation, including a 4 bedroom manse.
